There are 3 reasons to launch on Product Hunt: 1) Get featured & earn a Product Hunt Badge (Social proof) 2) To receive feedback & validate for your new product 3) Drive traffic / sales to your site What is the main reason you chose to launch your product on product hunt?

@alt_f yeah the badge is very appealing to compete for when you are new on product hunt. We had the same affinity towards the badge as well when we started. But ranking on top of PH gives great traffic and sales apart form the badge.

Well, actually, all of them. To be specific we are looking to receive feedback.

We recently launched primarily for a 2-ed reason, but it's honestly challenging to gain visibility and receive feedback. However, I believe it largely depends on the categories we select, which will require further research 😅

@arssirek yeah product hunt can get pretty competitive to gain visibility. When you are new to product it might better to get a hunter who can help plan, execute and distribute your launch. If you're planning to launch another product, check phhunters.com to find a hunter for your lunch.

Nithin, the primary reason for launching on Product Hunt was to tap into its vibrant community for honest feedback, which is invaluable for refining our product and driving iterative improvement. The added visibility and potential traffic boost were just the cherry on top!

For me, Nithin, the main draw was the invaluable feedback from a community well-versed in tech and startups—it's like a litmus test for product-market fit. The potential traffic boost was a bonus, but the insights gained were the real prize.

All of them, but we’re focusing on driving traffic and receiving a lot of feedback. We’re launching in March, so let’s see how it does. But honestly getting product of the day is just a great validation + traffic + feedback and motivation. All in one. So we target #1 🚀

2) To receive feedback & validate for your new product

I chose because it's the opportunity to get more traffic. I launched my product on Product Hunt in January 2024 and discussed my strategy 'from 0 to Product Hunt in 4 weeks' along with the results in the video on my Youtube channel

Because if the product becomes the top of the day, there are many prospects.

@nithin_jawahar as this is my first launch, I'm seeking feedback from first ph users.
