I would say start with twitter/X as yourbase, sync your marketing content to LinkedIn and facebook. if your target customers r medium size or big corp, Linkedin probably is your main channel but if indie-hackers are your target X is a good start point

@ray_luan could you explain why twitter?

@suchback First, twitter has 450 million users, and Elon Musk recently started to pay every user real money if you publish good quality content. Therefore a lot of Indies and SMB owners started to create more content in twitter. By build in public in twitter, you will get better exporsure to your potential audience or customers. Twitter is forming a nurturing culture for software developers to support each other. The algorithm started to score you for good behavior like commenting and writing long form post or publish videos. The vibe is there, go try it. You will have the first mover advantage to start it now. You can also follow my tweet. I am building in public and sharing everything I do for my project.

Depends on your product and your audience. B2B - definitely LinkedIn. But it can work for B2C, too.

That's a great question! Twitter, LinkedIn, and Product Hunt are all popular platforms that can be effective for marketing purposes. However, I would like to suggest that you use ReplyMind as your assistant for these three platforms. ReplyMind can help you grow your social network quickly. I am not sure if I fully understand your question. Social media software as in, you're looking to manage your social media marketing using a software? You should probably look at https://recurpost.com/

Let's look like this. The best social media platforms is where the audience is. So, if you are a marketing person for a SaaS platform that is serving a GenZ audience - you should get more in-depth in platforms like Snapchat or TikTok. Or if you are a marketing person for a media company that is serving a C-suite audience, you should understand the power of Linkedin or even Facebook. So, the best social media software for a marketer is wherever their audience is.

@katairobi Thank God someone answered it the right way! I absolutely agree you should go where your target audience is already hanging out and meet them there!

It depends on your product and your audience base. I don't think there is one that is only suitable for marketing. LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram..
Alex Kim
@jadsanaknaki Should I focus on marketing one software or marketing all software?
Jad Sanaknaki
@metasomai Data is crucial- analysing your traffic data can help you strategise whether you want to market one software or all software.

Depends on your needs, but if you're into automating content, Buffer's solid. We used it for our launch and it did the trick.

I'd go with Buffer for scheduling and analytics; it's simple and gets the job done. Had success with it when I launched my app on ProductHunt.

@susanjones61sj One thing I don't like about Buffer is that it can't schedule the images to album on Meta and schedule documents on LinkedIn

I have started like 2 days ago on twitter and linkedin. I think I should document my journey just In case haha.

I recommend using email marketing platforms like Mailchimp, Klaviyo or Selzy. And of course don't ignore LinkedIn - it's your best friend in creating buzz among the industry leaders!

I too believe that linkedin is more suitable for B2B. It also offers great options for ads and sales leads tracking and its users are mostly familiarized on B2B products. Twitter should be a natural first option for B2C it is more direct and has more reach to various generations. If your product is more tech oriented and focuses on web 3 elements, then Discord is your best bet. If you are targeting for a younger audience, then TikTok has certainly its appeal and the same is true for instagram. Just my two cents

I'd love to ask where it's best to market products related to Midjourney prompts. It seems like there's an issue with reaching the right audience on Twitter. We are a B2C product.

Software or platform? Buffer is great!

Based on my experience, different social media software cater to different needs. But for B2B, it is undoubtedly LinkedIn!

Popular platforms like Youtube, TikTok, and Product Hunt are incredibly effective for marketing purposes. We recommend using Singify to create background music for your marketing videos. Here's the link: https://www.producthunt.com/post....
