If you could do it all again, what's the one thing you would do differently?

There is a lot of preparation. I recommend to follow this Product Launch Action Template V2 to get ready.

@fabian_maume Thanks for the link to your template! If you were to launch Warmup Inbox again for the first time, what is one of the things you would do differently?

I am wrapping up material for a discussion which I will post probably tomorrow, but in short: I wish I knew we would get so many people visiting our website and signing up, because we would then have taken more time to think through exactly what we wanted to ask them. We had a survey post signup, and we thought no-one was gonna do it. End of day? more than 500 did, and we feel we did not maximize the value we could have got from that. Don't get me wrong, I'm super happy about it, but yet.. we could have handled this better!

@gabriele_mazzola thanks for answering, and look forward to hearing more insights from your launch. Amazing you had so many complete the survey, and totally understand where you are coming from. Now you have them in your database, a post-one-month follow-up survey could be a good way to re-engage and gain more information.

@carolmoh we’re actually planning on sending out an email today for thank everyone and inform about the next steps. We’re also preparing an X account for Touring for the building in public, what do you think?
Carol Moh
@gabriele_mazzola I think that is a great idea! I would also suggest setting up your X account before sending out your email so that you can provide a CTA to follow the account on X for the latest updates and tag long for the journey as you build in public! In your comms always make sure to give some kind of CTA not just a one-way comms, so you can maintain engagement as you build your audience! :)

Engagement by people who’re active on PH does carry more wight than any other random folk. I wish I knew this, but I’m glad that I finally know :D What about you Carol?
Carol Moh
@arzmn I thought that might be the case but wasn't sure, so I’m grateful you confirmed my thoughts! I’ve always been told the PH community is important. However, I think beyond just the weight of the votes, everyone here wants you to do well and gives great feedback, which is equally important! We haven't launched yet, so I’m currently in “sponge mode” and soaking up all the valuable insights from the community to prepare as much as we can.
