I'm a big fan of Twitter and grow my Twitter account to 12k followers. I created a free playbook to help people growing their audience on Twitter, and I'd like to improve it. What are the challenges you're facing when trying to grow your following?

Audience 🤣 Jokes aside. I guess consistently wirting and replying to other users is pretty difficult not to mention the kind of noise one has to go through.

@pruthvi2 can you tell me more about networking?

@angezanetti though one may be great at writing threads or great tweets. we all know you tweet into void when you are new to the game. When I say networking. I mean you need to get some engagement or RT’s from bigger accounts in your niche.. and nobody gives a damn about your new account unless you constantly engage with bigger accounts.. provide value etc. so identifying right people to engage with. Approaching them in DM’s without spamming them. May be creating some sort of engagement groups in your niche without having to pay huge amounts.. I’ve been tinkering around this idea to build a tool that has a gamified approach to networking, constant tweeting, engagement groups etc. what do you think?

Writing threads. Threads are the best ways to grow your account but it does take a lot of threads to get some momentum. Commit to writing 15 threads for the next 15 days. I can promise you that: - you will become a better writer - you will develop the habit of writing!

@rohan_pathak1 How do you find inspiration for them? Do you use templates (to have the right format/hook)

@angezanetti Yes I have a lot of prompts and resources to help me write threads and tweets when I don't feel like writing!

While there is a lot of work to be done, it is quite challenging to constantly follow the posts and be active. I think that interaction will increase when I write content to follow current posts, interact with people constantly, and produce content for information, not for followers.

@arda_finsmart Yes, I am kind of agree with you. The produce content for information is important, but at the same time producing some content for followers is also necessary. You can use some tool to guide followers to interact with you, such like retweet &like my content when you read about it. You can try our product LinkTool, it will help you increase your engagement. https://www.producthunt.com/@lin...

@richw does it works? Pushing content is great but you have to engage with others if you want to have some traction

Challenge is more internal than external (platform, users, etc.). If you have defined a clear objective of what you want to achieve on Twitter - personal brand, product/brand awareness, learn from niche community, etc., then it becomes easier to layout a strategic approach to creating content, following relevant users, making Lists, etc. The underlying rule to succeed on Twitter though (from my 3 month personal experience) is CONSISTENCY. Daily posts, engaging with high decibel user from your niche, following 15-20 users - is imperative. My current challenge is creating threads which I want to go-live with from next week.

@swapdp_01 Definitely, there are tons of paying course out there to known how to grow. But, at the end of the day, you'll have to do the work (Or hire someone to do it for you!)
