What's the intersection between web3 and AI?

AI is getting hyped the same way web3 was a few years ago, and I've seen some AI projects incorporate web3. What are some ways you've seen web3 intersect with AI? For me, I've mostly seen AI image generators being used to mint NFTs or just have a web3 community built around them. For example, I've already had 2 reach out to me about setting up an AI image generation backend with https://evoke-app.com/

Some are saying AI is the real arrival of Web3 and they are not separate.

@richard_gao2 I'm currently integrating AI into web apps - is that Web2 or Web3?

@richard_gao2 I would argue Ai is Web 3 for sure. Rumors have it chatGPT is already at 100m users. Meanwhile Horizon world can't get more than a few hundred users daily. Google and Bing are planning to release chatbot versions of their search engines. That certainly is not Web2. And the average person does not use AR, VR, or Blockchain tech on a daily bases. There is a difference between web and internet. Just because it uses the internet does not mean it is a web first technology. Unless it's WebAR, WebVR, or a maybe a Wallet App, Web3 seems like it does not apply - atleast not at the scale of AI.

People are learning the unfortunate truth about web3: it is pure greed.
