The visibility of mobile devices to companies is impressive at the point where the market is. We can affirm that mobile apps hold a great future. Thanks to the increase in the use of smartphones, applications remain at their peak, but how far can they go? What do you think?

Apps that don't rely on advertising seem to have a lot of potential in a market where data privacy and misinformation are top concerns. And with wearables proliferating perhaps the future of mobile apps have nothing to do with your phone.

Mobile applications will continue to grow, mainly due to superior user experience as compared to using the same application in a web browser.

@krithik_suvarna2k I agree, especially with Apple not allowing advances in PWA technologies on safari on iOS

@krithik_suvarna2k @gabhishek Agreed, safari is always a problem.

@krithik_suvarna2k Yes I super agree, but also because of the continuous interaction the app can have with the user. For example thanks to push notifications

For me, the future of mobile applications appears to be bleak. In this age of diminishing attention spans, applications compete with one another to hold their users' time hostage. We have apps like YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook, which have the largest market share. This makes it difficult for indie developers to make a living from app development, as well as for salaried individuals looking for a side hustle. I could go on and on about this subject, but you get the idea. 🤷🏿‍♂️

@akash_panigrahi1 Thank you for your reply. I cannot entirely agree with your thinking; unlike the website in recent years, the mobile app is developing new code languages, while websites are slowing down this process of innovation at the code level. There are indeed the big digital companies that hold the market, but they are losing it, see Facebook, because their product is old thanks to this ongoing process of innovation where we see, for example, the birth of bereal

The future of mobile applications is going to be focused on artificial intelligence, augmented reality, big data, and machine learning. Developers should consider these trends when developing their next app: - Artificial intelligence will be used in various ways like personal assistants, smart chatbots, virtual assistants, etc. - Augmented reality will be used to enhance the user experience by adding a layer of information on top of what we see in front of us - Machine learning is going to change how we interact with smartphones

People started relying heavily on mobile apps as they stayed at home during the lockdown and it will be still continued for long time. As a result, mobile app industry will continue to grow.

I think apps are too sensitive in terms of security and their users' data, and more and more users are becoming concerned about that. Hence, the app creators have to be compliant, accurate, transparent, and secure.
