Mine is Altnine, a messaging app similar to WhatsApp/telegram but total different to how to works, Altnine connects devices to devices directly, no intermediate databases or storage, where other apps(Whatsapp/Telegram/other) use hub-spoke model with intermediate server/storage, storing/processing every message/file of yours, so Im tired of these platforms and built my own for my personal use initially but then as my friends liked it, I thought of releasing it for all, its all already coded anyway, then started making some corrections for public release, kept adding more and more features and now we have a real product.

Horbi
i founded Hey, Horbi! at the end of 2023 after seeing that i could help improve people's lives & make them more productive & organized through Notion & nocode tools. after years of working as a freelance Developer & Designer, i saw that people always asked me how i managed to maintain a routine, i was able to do everything i needed to do, i organized all my files/research/notes/studies without overloading myself. from then on i saw an opportunity & dove headfirst into Hey, Horbi! to be able to transform people's lives as i transformed mine.

I got into investing in cryptocurrencies and other web3 assets in 2017 and quickly discovered the immense responsibility of private key and seed phrase management. Basically, if you hold the assets yourself in a 'digital wallet', what you're holding is the keys or seeds. They give you access to the blockchain. I realized that many people were losing access to their investments forever because of poor practices in managing and backin gup these keys and seeds. So for me, it was first about designing a solution that help me manage that process better. Then once I had perfected it and had user feedback, iterated over the solution some more, simplified it... I came up with three products that interlock. FreezeKeys.com was first (that launched on Saturday on ProductHunt). The next one is EncryptFire which launches next Saturday on ProductHunt. The third is called PassMyCrypto which will launch some time in the next 6 weeks - its a deadman switch to pass cryptos on to loved ones if you pass away. So thats the story. I needed it for my own use and realized it would have immense value to most investors. I'm giving away the first two products free.

Cool question and even more cool to see people’s stories. I did RFPs at other startups and it was such a terrible process that I figured it’s the biggest problem to be solved. When AI came around I knew we had an opportunity to make a big change to the process.
