What do you listen to while working?

I seem to change my mind depending on my workload or mental space. I usually start with silence in the mornings, but after a few hours, I'll pick one of my many playlists and let it loop the rest of the day. Today feels like a 90's jams kinda day!

I don't listen to anything while working. Cause honestly, it's distracting for me.

I traded music for audiobooks a long time ago while driving or exercising, so deep work time is my only music time now unless I'm with others. The type of work decides the type of music.

I used to be a music kind of person, but lately I've just been soaking in the natural sounds of the world (aka silence LOL)

Lots of things. But high tempo electronic music gets me focused whereas ambient music keeps me going when Iโ€™m a bit tired. Listening to shoegaze classics right nowโ€ฆ

As a dentist, I often listen to calming instrumental music or podcasts related to dentistry and oral health. This helps me maintain focus during procedures and stay updated on industry trends. Creating a serene atmosphere benefits both my concentration and the overall patient experience.
