Launching a online jewelry store - how important is the website vs social media, considering we expect at first our main funnel would be through social media (not doing paid ads yet)?

Why not make one? It only takes a few hours and it's free (apart from the domain name, which you will want for your email address anyway). I would paste my guide here but it isn't letting me, I'll DM it to you. Customers expect you to have a website - and it's another form of marketing.

@lalit_lal Most of the site's colours are black and white. Jewlery should be full of colour and sparkle - including elegant colours like silver and gold. You don't explain what makes a good diamond/ring, certificates, etc. The heading 'Engagement rings, made for one.' needs to be clearer. I assumed that this meant that the rings are custom made, but I didn't know for sure until I read it in the FAQ. This should be a selling feature. https://www.hiradiamonds.com/about - is it 100 or 150 years? I suggest including photographs over this time period to give evidence. You've used the same image multiple times. The text is too close in colour to the background, making it hard to read. I don't like the HIRA circle at the bottom left of the page. At the top 'Speak to a live expert: +1 (647) 424-4472' should give times they are available. I recommend that you work with a good digital design agency to build a website digital marketing strategy. Find a good one - 95% of them out there are bad, so really research them and find one that is good for you.
