Threads has not launched in our region so I guess still Twitter. Though we have heard good things about Threads.

Strongly Twitter because there are so many socials now. And another Twitter is too much for me.
Threads! Backed by a public company that caters to it's already 2.5Billion user base. Twitter has a user base of around 350M. The way Threads is able to integrate with Instagram is phenomenal. And already Instagram has one of the best messaging platforms as well as content sharing. Threads is going to surpass Twitter within the next 6 months, by the sheer Instagram user base alone! Further the story sharing integration between Threads and Instagram has already given it a competitive advantage in comparison to Twitter. Something that Meta definitely learned and adopted from the rise of TikTok. But now implemented within their strong millennial user base!
@apostolos_toptsis Yes, but it feels like Meta/Facebook/Instagram only copies things from other social media since 2016. It was initiated to create Metaverse, but they are on another front (Threads). They are distracted by many things. I see that they want to diversify their portfolio but with all of those changes (employee cut-offs, etc) I am not so sure if Metaverse or Threads will succeed when they do multiple things at once or do not finish initiated projects to the fullest.
@busmark_w_nika sure that can be a valid point of view. But that being said, Meta tend to copy and make things better/more accessible. At least with their Instagram product, and threads does kinda feel like an Instagram sub-product or supplementary product. At the end of the day, time will tell. But at this time Threads has been the fastest growing app of all time and it’s made by the biggest social media company in the world, so it’s potential is undeniable. If it succeeds and sustains is a “we’ll see”. But if any company is able to do it better than Twitter. Especially the way that Elon is, it’s definitely Meta.
Threads is a dud because the feed is painfully uninteresting.
I followed a lot of people on IGs whos posts I do not see. Now, Threads is resurfacing old high school friends with whom I have nothing in common anymore, making for a boring experience.
I had a bad experience on Twitter so I will go with Threads.

@busmark_w_nika I will be a little stupid here lol I like Threads UI/UX better than Twitter and you also get an advantage of Instagram on Threads so I like Threads better.
Also, I do not understand Twitter's algo. but we cannot ignore the fact that Threads algo is still unfinished and in a trial period. So I guess we will have to wait a little more to get a proper answer to this question.
It’s like comparing IOS vs Android. Threads seems to be more picture oriented right now.
