Tired of Trello style Kanban cards for managing tasks?

Many of us are weary of seeing the same Kanban boards in all task management products. What alternative  new user interface do you love?

I love the cards aspect but don't always do kanban stuff. So i'm working on my own product where you can use cards and open them like files to put more cards in them. Kinda like windows explorer files but think cards or bins instead.

If you are tired of the traditional Trello-style Kanban cards for managing tasks, Frame could be a nice alternative. It's still on development and there are some glitches but what it offers is promising.
