work expands to fill the time available, so I set a timer for each task and force my attention to finish it in the time allotted

Sticky notes of top to-dos. Lately, the thing I have loved doing is writing down nd visualizing my day the night before. So I walk through my next day knowing exactly my priorities and what I will be doing and it's going great! Also on sundays I do a week review :D

Absolutely! Lately, I've been starting my days by doing the tasks I like the least. I think putting off stuff happens mostly because we don't want to do certain things. By getting those out of the way on purpose, I end up feeling good about finishing them and then I have an easier day after that!

I start with some quick wins to boost morale, and then I work my way up towards more time-consuming tasks. I do have a project management tool that I use, which helps a lot. When I'm REALLY not feeling productive, I change my scenery and get outside for a quick walk.

The 2 best ways to overcome distractions are : - remove the easy dopamine hits like scrolling tiktok or twitter, you'll likely feel bored and do what you really need to do instead. - keep a constant reminder of what you need to do. (To -do lists, calendars, notifications and everything that can remind you to do stuff)

newton’s first law of motion states that every object will remain at rest or in uniform motion in a straight line unless compelled to change its state by the action of an external force and I believe this applies to procrastination as well!! to tackle procrastination, you need to positively disrupt your workflow by introducing positive enhancements which are easily available by AI now a days.

Asana or Click-Up to organize and prioritize. 1Focus to block distracting websites and apps on the Mac. AppBlock to do the same on the phone. No meetings, deep work times blocked off on the calendar. Spotify + headphones to get in the groove.
