OneNote and pen and paper when things get serious :)

I use iOS notes app because it was the default for an iPhone 😂. Though for songwriters and students I made https://lyrist.app

@psd Same as you (i use ios notes app). The difference is that in the meantime I'm working on https://culturama.is 😉

Notion mostly but the mobile app is slow. I use WhatsApp self-account for note-taking sometimes.

@roopreddy if you're on iOS, check out my app which is optimised for quickly creating Notion notes -> https://apps.apple.com/us/app/in...

Notion and Google keep. Keep to quickly jot down top of the mind things, notion to plan for the future.

Windows Notepad! I know, I have to be more organized than that.
Nigee
a pad and pen

I used Notion before, but I'm using Obsidian recently. it's offline (unless you decided to pay for saving it in cloud). The experience is much better because with Notion sometimes you need to wait for it to fetch your data and I don't really need online features since I take my laptop everywhere.
Hello_Joy
@james_tedy It appears most engineers have moved to Obsidian from Notion recently. It's a bit harder to create a process (?) than Notion. Would you mind sharing a little more about your experience? 😳
James Tedy
@joy_eom what is this process you mentioned? sorry I didn't understand it.

Right now, I just jot down ideas in uptiq.app so I can follow them up as experiments further down the road

Honestly, I use WhatsApp to take notes. Anything I want to note down, I send to myself, which is a new feature WhatsApp launched this year. I'm accustomed to taking notes on phone like this, so this may not be of much help.

Notion but for meetings, automatic note-taking is a life safer. I am using spiky.ai, our app! Soon to be published on Product Hunt as well!

I would've said iOS notes app too, but now I've switched over to craft. It's like notion but more aesthetically pleasing!

Google keep for phones and Microsoft Notepad for computers. I like it minimal and simple.

Google keep is my go-to note taking application

Depending on the type of notes and where you are: - pen/paper: for quick ideas, creative processing or meeting notes - notes app: for ideas that come up while on the go - notion: for long-term work-related thoughts
