Junior Developers in small companies, what challenges do you face the most in your work?

To start the discussion, I want to share a little bit about myself. My name is Daniyar, and I have switched my career from sales to Web Development just 8 months ago. My current position is my first paid IT job, and since it's a small startup with limited personnel and no full-scale onboarding / mentorship capabilities, I had to learn a lot of things on my own. Which was relatively hard (but do-able) for a person with no previous professional experience. For example, my biggest challenge was learning the required tech stack and writing a clean code, or code that follows the same style as of my co-workers. And to get help, I found a local group of junior developers who started in other companies about the same time as I did, and we support each other in our learning - by sharing tutorials, libraries, video lectures etc. I wanted to see if there are other folks here in the same situation as I am, and wanted to see what other challenges do you have and how do you overcome them?

Scrimba is a cool code learning tool. Much more interactive than a plain video. https://scrimba.com/
