Is now the right timing for Figma to charge a fee of 15% for all paid resources transaction?

Figma bans selling paid resources using 3rd party payment in the community, and charges a 15% tax on all transaction. Do you think it's the right timing now? Can Figma build another apple store like Shopify has done?

It's possibly less about trying to create another Apple store or Shopify, but rather trying to commercialise as much of the platform as possible before the Adobe acquisition fully closes.
Livefyre, Magneto, Marketo and Frame.io all undertook aggressive revenue raising activities during this same window when Adobe bought them.
Not sure if the way Adobe structures their acquisitions if there is some upside to it, but there does seem to be a pattern.
