Set KPIs for yourself and your team. Track as much of these metrics as possible and continue to figure out ways to improve. Decisions are best made with quantifiable data.

I think once you have the tools in place - leading by example (hours/calls/demos) is huge - coaching is important and I always like doing daily 1 on 1s to talk not only about work goals but also life/goals. If they love their team they'll be less likely to leave once they amass the skills you're teaching them. Five9 (and I am sure a lot of software) track and record calls so if you have macro level targets those can be good things to look at beyond just closed deals. Also measuring outreach / demos booked etc are pretty easy to track with any CRM (hubspot/salesforce/gohighlevel etc)
