Resources aside, I'd suggest starting a brand on your favourite social platform or on your own newsletter/blog. In the same niche as your future SaaS Product, and grow that. You can learn the growth tactics for for those channels, and if it goes well, you have an audience that could become customers of your product. Reading is helpful, but I think it's always better to get in there and grow something. That's what I did become I was director of growth at an agency that went 4x in 1 year.
