How much of your free time do you spend educating yourself?

Question

To be always on top of things in your industry you need to continuously explore new articles/lectures/books on the subject. But it takes time away from the things you want to do for fun, and that's what free time is for!

How much time do you spend doing it? And how much do you think is reasonable to spend on it?

Probably 3-4 hours a day. I have a lot of free time and feel bad if I’m not active

It takes up a lot of my free time, but I do remember to get at least a few hours of R&R in daily.

To be honest, I spend enough time on personal growth. When having free time, I always learn something new or improve my skills. If I want to distract myself a little I play logical games - I like chess and difficult tasks (sometimes I solve them with this tool https://word-finder.com/anagram-...). It's really important to pay proper attention to education as it's your future.

@richw the balance here is really hard to reach for me... I don't know so many things that I don't know what to study first, and it ends up being quite overwhelming:)
