How many hours a day do you spend on online meetings at work?

With the work-from-home way of working, I suppose a major part of my working hours is spent in online meetings themselves. It is not just about having an online zoom/ google meet call- you have to be connected with your team members through texts and calls all the time!

Minimum 4 hours...a lot of days with 8....

Now it’s about 1-2 hours a day, earlier it could reach up to 4 hours, which was not very convenient. It seems to me that meetings often take too much time, which could be spent on something really useful. As practice shows, most issues can be resolved in writing)

I try to keep all meetings in 2 hours max a day

It depends. I have come to realize, if I attend 2 meetings or so, I kind of lose interest in coding after that... so, I keep some days as 'meeting-only' days. Works for me.

It depends on many factors like days of the week and the situation of the projects. On the starting days of the week, I have to conduct many online meetings. Sometimes if there is some issue or the higher involvement of the top management, I need a lot of online coordination.
