How do you use your personal social channels to promote your product? Has it been effective?

I often see people posting very frequently on LinkedIn or Twitter, which can be about their product, general thought-leadership, or other types of content. It has been proven that people on social channels (and just in general) prefer interacting with other professionals compared to brand accounts. Curious about what approach people here are taking when it comes to their own social channels: 1️⃣ Which channels do you mainly use to post with a focus on your career/industry/day-to-day work (Twitter, LinkedIn, Tiktok, Reddit, other)? 2️⃣ How often do you post/engage 3️⃣ What kind of content do you post & how often do you directly talk about your product? 4️⃣ Have you seen actual results on traffic/signups/conversions or your target metric in general based on posts and activity on your personal profiles? 5️⃣ Are there any indirect metrics you are pursuing with this activity, if so which ones are they and how has that been going so far? Curious to learn more about the different approaches people take with their own profiles and what kind of impact it has made for them so far. 🚀

@richw Oh that's awesome, so combining your community building with Twitter comms through automation, and then people can easily interact/stay up to date with Twitter stuff right from within the discord community?

Hey! At izipoint we use Instagram + Facebook and also Linkedin. First two help with short posts and fast awareness whereas Linkedin is more b2b oriented and we use it to communicate with potential clients. To boost activity we use targeted ads on Insta and Facebook – works nice even with lower budget. We do see the traffic and engagement increase.
