How do you track your software subscription costs?

I'm drowning in a sea of subscriptions – design tools, project management, email marketing, you name it! Keeping track of them all, especially the costs, is a nightmare. Right now, I'm using a Google Sheet to record subscription names, costs, renewal dates, and even add notes about usage. It works okay, but it's clunky and time-consuming to update . I'm curious – what do you guys use to track your software subscriptions? * Are you a spreadsheet person like me? * Do you swear by a specialized subscription management tool? * Is there a hidden gem app I'm missing out on? Share in the comments. :) P.S. My fellow hunter friend @thisiskp_ hunted Talisman today. It sounds promising so far. I am giving it a spin: https://www.producthunt.com/post...

I have been on the lookout for such a tool which isn’t heavy on pocket. Tried few tools earlier but they were non-user friendly, hence didn’t stick. Talisman looks promising and offers a generous free tier too. Thanks for sharing @rohanrecommends

Unfortunately, this means we’ve had to temporarily limit access to manage the surge. Don’t miss out—enter your email below to join our waitlist. We’ll send you an invitation the moment you can dive in. ---- Might help to know @rohanrecommends

This is such a problem. This seems like a nice gmail extension that should inspect your emails and track subscriptions. Any makers want to build one?

The "Ask Trim" service works for me. It's less labor intensive than a nice, more informative spreadsheet.

I've been using an Airtable base for my SaaS subscriptions since 2022 and it's a bit all over the place and clunky. That's why I loved Talisman :)

Hi Rohan, you should be able to view all of them in your accounting software, categorized with notes on renewal. At Fiskl, we sync all bank transactions and allocate them to categories such as software subscriptions, R&D etc, then the system learns and allocates them automatically. You can filter by software vendor, see costs by period and you can add notes for renewal dates. I am the CEO of Fiskl Accounting, and we use our own platform to keep track of all subscriptions and keep their costs in check of course. And best of all they are all directly from the bank into accounting, no manual work or spreadsheets. Fiskl is global (I am not sure where you are based).

Talisman looks great as well, but Plaid is limited to US and UK as far as I remember.
