How do you shop online? Do you watch a video first?

91% of people watch a video before purchasing something online. Are you one of them?

I usually check out reviews and ask around in forums to see if anyone's bought it and what their experience has been.

I’m still one of those people who needs to see / touch before I buy so most of time I’ll buy online when I’ve seen a friend with it, or they don’t have it in stores anymore

@jd_worcester hahaha yes that does seem like a lot of work. Honestly if she was here in Italy, the wait time at the postal office to send out packages would make her rethink that process I think hahaha
Nope. You can still read the review, but I don’t watch the video.
Depends on the price of the product but when I am like: "I need this product but am still not sure" – I want to see more than pretty copywriting on the web. I need some demonstrations, testimonials/reviews/experiences from previous users. To know the pros and cons as well. If it is worth investing in the product.

@millisen @sreenington I would agree with both of these statements. Anything tech related i'll typically watch a video because it's more complex and expensive. I really like Marques Brownlees reviews.
If I’m buying a tech product (phones, PCs, headphones) I’m almost always gonna watch reviews of it on YouTube. I regularly watch tech reviews and I already watched a video of something I’m gonna buy, I’ll watch it again.
For anything else, I’ll just go through the review section on Amazon or look up what people say on Reddit
Hi JD! It depends on what I'm buying. If it's lower cost, a video is not needed but once it starts getting pricey, I usually watch a video or two.
