Setting up a separate work space and moving away from it when I'm taking a break or even watching a short video that is not work related, has helped me stay focused

@mrinalini_r I think you have a very important point here. In my opinion the biggest problem for us working in front of a computer is that most distractions are also in the computer. If for instance the distractions would be outside of our work space it would be much more difficult to get distracted at all.

I read this book a year ago https://www.nirandfar.com/indist... Did it work for me? not really, or well, probably it improved the situation a bit but I did not manage to be completely become indistractable, it requires a lot of hard discipline and awareness on when you get distracted so that you can push the distraction away. Still the book is probably the most complete compendium of hints on how to keep as little distracted as possible so heavily recommended.

I try to use as much asynchronous communication as possible. This helps me to work on my projects for a long time without any interruption. I also use a website blocker to keep myself away from social media websites.

- I installed freedom.to and created block lists of distracting sites (across all devices) - use the pomodoro technique - listen to instrumental music so my brain doesn't have to process lyrics - I use rescue time to monitor my performance and see where I can improve - I zone my calendar, 4 hours dedicated to a highlight or big project, set a time to check emails or slack, remaining hours for admin or side gigs - Just start.

The most of forums contain unnecessary knowledge for you, because you dont ask it and these are not for you. Firstly you need to find same situation in forum and it takes time or you can ask it. Second, you have to use your own network in this regard. https://androidgta5.net/ Thirdly, there are people who can answer your paid questions as well as support you for free, but remember that you need to get their attention by asking them quality questions.

Just set up a proper office, you can find more information about glass partitions here https://doors22.com/how-glass-cl... . First, the work area affects greater productivity during working hours. Secondly, no external factors distract you :)
