How do you find inspiration for your design projects?

Research existing designs and trends. Nature and environment. Art, culture, and museums. Collaborative brainstorming. Problem-solving approach.

Dribbble and community/browse other designs that can be copied in apps like Figma, Canva. I have also used graphicriver a lot in the past to find design elements or just get some inspiration. You can also play around a bit with Midjourney and see what it thinks of when you say certain words or phrases.

Nature, architecture, cultures, books. Lately, I’ve been finding a lot of inspiration on ChatGPT. Especially when it comes to generating ideas from different perspectives. I also spend some time on Behance and Dribbble to have an idea of what people are into these days but I generally try to avoid being too influenced by these sites.

Browsing design platforms: Behance, Dribbble, Pinterest, and other platforms showcase a massive spectrum of design styles and elements. Immersing myself in these platforms exposes me to trends, color palettes, layouts, and more.

Exploring art and other creative disciplines: From architecture and photography to fashion and music, other creative fields offer unique perspectives and can spark unexpected connections for design solutions.

Text analysis: Analyzing user feedback, target audience preferences, and project briefs helps me identify keywords, emotions, and themes that can be translated into design elements. Trend analysis: Identifying emerging trends in color palettes, materials, user interfaces, or sustainability practices ensures my designs are relevant and impactful. Experimenting with AI tools: Exploring generative AI tools for inspiration in specific areas like typography, mood boards, or even initial layouts can open new possibilities.

Dribbble and Muzli are my main inspirations tools.

First step, get design content ready with help of ChatGPT Next, I just look for some good templates which may help me get my project done faster and then look for some samples around. Combining all these I can give my best in all design projects!

I love consuming and melting ideas from different type of sources Products. I am looking for products in different areas (to avoid just copying analogues). Mostly trying to learn how they make me feel and what feeling I want to pass to my users Behance and dribble. Searching high-level concepts. But with them I have to be aware that some staff could be too theoretical and won’t work in product. Product Hunt. Here I am trying to get a big picture on trends. Staff that resonates and etc.

I just start doing smth and then inspiration come to me :) Also I use such services as Creative Market or Envato elements

Social trends, sentiment and seasons. Everything changes so should your designs. What worked in the past may not work now! Remember when Rose Gold was everywhere 😂😂😂

I look around for references, use new products for the experience. I notice things on my way..and chat with AI :)
