How do you balance time spent building vs. everything else (evangelizing, funding, networking...)?

I'm not the founder and don't have as many problems with balancing what you've described above, but in my case it's 70% building, 0% funding (I'm an employee, not owner), and 10% networking, 20% non-coding work tasks. But my friend @imanmoaz has been balancing between those for the past few years and I bet his opinion on this matter would be more relevant than my :)

Hi Ben Just need more insight: How many percent of your tasks have you delegated to other people/AI?? With your answer, I can share a valid response that will make you tick every task on your to-do😌

We as humans get easily distracted with new feature requests/biz directions/use cases. For example, the concept of MVP is easy to understand but very difficult to actually implement. I lost my focus several times during the first year at Castofly. Fundraising just added more fuel to this fire because out of the sudden you find yourself trying to do different things in the hope of satisfying investors. On top of this, my other mistake was to do a lot of startup competitions in the first two years! Don't get me wrong, it was fun to get recognized specially in the first year that no one even cared about the company but if the same energy went to the product, I believe we could have grown faster! I am not a fan of blaming myself but don't like to justify aforementioned issues by just saying that was a learning expereince! Anyway, not sure if this answers your question but my only suggestion is to prioritize in order to achieve product-led growth!
