While Discord is a popular choice for many, it's always interesting to explore and compare other options.
Most of the product communities are already there - OpenAI, Midjourney, Next.js, Supabase, Hasura, etc. Looks like it's already the go-to solution for this business.

I never found better than Discord. I don't comprehend how communities are built on slack for eg. haha

Wow, I'm not sure if it's just our industry, or maybe we are just out of tune with times, but I didn't even know Discord is a strong platform for community building. Does anyone here have pointers/best practices to share?
@heyjoshua Why don't you join a few Discord communities and see how they do it? most AI companies (OpenAI, MidJourney, Leonardo, Stable Foundation) already have great communities on Discord. There's also a growing number of SaaS and hardware startups like Cloaked, MarsX, Telo Trucks, Naya, etc. And of course tons of gaming, web3 and creator-fans servers.
@ilko_kacharov - I am wondering if you found anything interesting. I've been building communities since past 15+ years and have built a new community tool which arguably is better than discord. It brings multiple user engagement tools under one platform. Would love to show it to you.
@ilko_kacharov - OpenAI is building on Discourse - which is an open forum that allows for structured discussion. I think that's a great way to build a community.
However, managing Discourse is a nightmare. I'm currently building a community with it; and I wish someone made it easier for the admins.
