Discord or Slack for your Community, and why?

I think it ultimately depends on the specific needs and preferences of your community, but generally speaking, Discord may be a better option for more casual and social communities, while Slack may be more suitable for professional and business-oriented groups due to its advanced features and integrations with various tools. Me, personally, I use discord more than I use slack

@dhruv_dubey1 Well put, Dhruv. The one put off for Slack is its pricing. It's impossible to pay per user to handle large communities. Though I love the clean, clutter free experience (compared to Discord).
Discord for me, pricing is an important factor to consider before creating a large and passionate community!
Both are great, I guess it really depends on unique needs of a team

IMHO Slack or Discord, Discord or Slack, both have pros and cons.
at Documenso, we recently switched to Discord. we just think itβs the best option for what we want to build -- a developer-friendly, community-driven environment.
