Both are important if you gonna done with the front end then the application is useless without data. if you did backend only that's also useless without showcase... So, both are important.

Both front end and back end development are vital because without one, we cannot create a website, and without the other, we cannot connect our website to the server, therefore both are required for every website or application.

both important, even if since few years much of the backend complexity has been abstracted away thanks to serverless and microservices
