yes, these companies such as toptal broadcast how they retain 3% of top talents in the whole world are kinda waste of time in my opinion. They evaluate you based on your ability to answer questions fast (50 questions in 25 minutes about the subject you are applying to). This actually doesn't measure your talent and I've seen many people being rejected at this stage even though they are excellent professionals. I don't have much advice on "go there, do that" I'll let this task to my peers, but I've been to these screening tests in these companies (and I have many peers in the same situation) that ended up feeling incredibly frustrated. Not to mention the time-wasting of going through this.
