Replit's AI Agent Website Builder - Honest Review
The Agent is good, if you want to build something insanely basic. Like an EdTech landing page, or an one pager for validating an idea.
For anything else, which is probably what everyone needs is super buggy. I tried to build an AI Agent that manages private keys and signs transactions for users. Replit for some reason created an app with the following things 1. Page to login/register
2. Page to generate my Keys
3. An OpenAI integration where I ask where should I store my keys and gives me an answer LOLOLOL . AI Replacing developers? NOT THERE YET.

Does AI k*ll MVP companies?
I am noticing two contradictories:
The growth of MVP services
The growth of AI tools that help you generate the code
What's the point of MVP services when the majority of people (with a very little knowledge about the code) can use AI to create their first MVP?
Yeah, you can now argument that some solutions are technologically more difficult and that's the point where the MVP service provider can step in, but anyway...
Each model is becoming more "skilled".

Does AI help your product or brand grow? Me not that much.
Lately I realise that I use AI to automate stuff etc, but when it comes to growing products that I built or my social presence, it does not help me much.
Like, there are probably a BILLION tools for AI-powered content creation and blah blah blah, but they haven't really helped me generate any meaningful content. So, I always end up writing the stuff I want myself, cause they are just better than the AI tools create.

I hate to say it and I don't want to sound pessimistic (but it's probably happening already :D)...
with all the conveniences we have, we are so fast and unfortunately also comfortable.

Users don't Care About Your Idea
Most startups start with this mindset: "I have an idea for an app / software / business. It helps users achieve ****. It's gonna be the next big thing."
This is wrong, as:
1. it assumes that you already know what users want (no one exactly does). 2. It doesn't consider that users are not patiently waiting for your app/software and may be already using something similar.

What pisses you off in life? Be real.
Hi PHerz! This is not a problem discovery post lol. Just a normal chat to see what others face in their daily lives, cause building stuff and in general trying to do things in life is a roller coaster. For me, a lot of stuff piss me off hah!
However, one thing that does a lot, is the fact that I see the majority outsourcing their lives to the "system". I see people still admiring folks like Elon Musk, people working jobs they dont like and being ok that they will work for 40 years, without realizing they only live once. Buying the newest cars, the newest iphones, posting fake things on social media. Without even thinking the consequences of all this. Feels like people gave up on thinking for themselves. Anyways, hectic day, so I felt like sharing a more "deep" topic. What about you? What pisses you off in this world?

What channels do you use for promoting upcoming launch
I can see that many people use especially: LinkedIn (group) posts, DMs Twitter posts, DMs, Streams Product Hunt in p/self-promotion Newsletter in sequences campaign YT for streaming Have you ever used other channels too? (E.g. Reddit, HN) or any other form that would make your upcoming launch stand out?

How much do you care about customers'review?
Based on yesterday's discussion, several people gave me advice on which countries are best for setting up a formal business. I started looking for intermediaries to set up a company. One of the things I do is read reviews, testimonials, etc. As soon as I read the reviews on Trustpilot and saw a lot of low ratings, I was put off. Google reviews were good, but Trustpilot was not so good. This is how companies lose customers. How do you approach customer reviews as they influence customer decisions?

[IDEA] for PH Team - Can we create our own Topic Forums?
This is an idea that I believe it would be very valuable.
There are a few pre-created forums like p/claude, p/notion etc.
However, why can we not create our own? Let's say I am a KOL in a vertical, let that be crypto, AI, deep tech, marketing, building apps or whatever. Why can I not kick off a Forum with a particular focus? The moderation should be similar, no spam, no bad behaviour etc etc. I think it would be a great initiative for people to chat about more targeted stuff and maybe build their own brands here in PH. Instead of getting lost in the p/general. Looking forward to your feedback. Also, anyone from the community, please share your opinion as well. Cheers !

How to benefit from the Product Hunt forums?
Yesterday I was thinking about how users of this platform can get the most out of Forums. Here are some ideas: 1 There aren't that many posts in the "Introduce yourself" section, so if you contribute something, there's a better chance of getting noticed by the community. 2 Even if you are an old member of the community, you can "reintroduce" yourself. A lot of people came here, so not everyone may remember you or know about you. At the same time, you can provide help to people in the areas you excel in just mention it in a post. 3 Recent posts allow you to tag people. When you are co-creating a product with someone, tag other collaborators in the "Self-promotion" section. This will automatically notify them as well and they will more likely support the post. 4 Ask questions that can help you improve the product. Conversations are now more moderated and even commented on by PH team members. This way you can get a professional perspective and improve your product or your next launch. 5 You can also take advantage of the Product Forums contribute to "p/Figma", "p/Supabase", "p/Notion" and other popular product forums... You can, for example, break down the most common problems of that particular tool and provide solutions. (Forum Threads appear e.g. in the sidebar for a given product for extra visibility) If you have any other ideas on how to take advantage of this new feature, I would like to see the opportunities from your perspective.

How do you decide when to launch on Product Hunt?
I'm working on draftly.so for the last few months. I planned to launch it on PH earlier but then after doing the research got different opinions.
Some recommended:
- Launching sooner to get more eyeballs and early users
- Others recommended launching it once we have crossed X users milestone I'd love to hear from the community: 1. What has been your experience with PH launches?
2. Any learnings that you would like to share?
