Is AI making us stupid?

I hate to say it and I don't want to sound pessimistic (but it's probably happening already :D)...

with all the conveniences we have, we are so fast and unfortunately also comfortable.

What new features would you like to see in ProductHunt in 2025?

For me:

  1. TikTok-like launch party / AMA livestream

  2. "Where Are They Now?" Tracker of products 3-6-12 months post-launch

  3. Feed of launch stories sharing successes, failures and tips like a substack community/feed

  4. Pre-launch AI scoring + domain-specific expert advisory

  5. Generative launch creatives for social media distribution

  6. "This vs. That" Showdowns head-to-head product debate & polls

  7. Dedicated boards for more content diversity: hardware, non-AI tools, pre-orders, alpha user invitations etc.

  8. Launch-in-public real-time analytics (visitor heatmaps, referrals, engagement - inspired by hunted.space)

  9. Different display views of daily product launches (inspired by PHDeck)

  10. More fun gamification in points system (interactive badges, referral, waitlist pre-launch)

  11. Better search filters (category, reviews, personalized recommendations)

  12. Founder matching hub for advisory and mentorship

@rajiv_ayyangar Curious to learn more about ProductHunt's future roadmap! :)

[Help] What marketing communities do you actively engage with?

Hi everyone,

We re looking for beta users for our AI video tool BrewVideo. As it's a tool build for creating product videos and explainers, our primary audience is marketers, especially product marketers at this stage. So I m looking to connect with marketing communities where they go to share challenges, get help, or stay up to date with trends.

Personally, I rely a lot on podcasts (which don t help in this case ), LinkedIn through my network, and some Reddit communities like r/growthhacking. But I d love to expand our reach - what marketing communities do you follow or recommend?
Many thanks!

Community Appreciation post 🙏

This week is a big week for us. After years of building in stealth, countless iterations, and invaluable feedback from all of you - Tana officially launched to the world. Thanks for the incredible help this week - and the last four years. One of our goals was to become Product of the Day, and we couldn't have done this without our community. This moment feels special. Not just because we re finally launching, but because of how we got here. When we started building Tana, we envisioned reinventing how humans and computers work together. But we didn t expect to find such an incredible community of pioneers, thinkers, and builders who would help shape that vision. I remember filling the Slack community with the first four members. Then we grew to 12. 25. 150. 500. Suddenly, I found myself stopping every 5 min. on my small evening runs to welcome the next community member. YOU - our 24,000+ Tanarians - have been nothing short of amazing. You ve pushed the boundaries of what Tana can do. You ve helped each other, shared insights, and created a thriving ecosystem of ideas. From complex workflows to powerful AI apps that feel like magic. You ve celebrated with us and pushed back when needed. Every message in our community Slack's #share-your-tips-and-how-tos, every idea and help in #feedback, every bug report, every aha! moment shared - they ve all contributed to making Tana what it is today. YOU haven t just been early adopters; YOU ve been co-creators of this journey. We still hope to become Product of the Week and Month, so if you haven t already supported us, we d love your support. Not just for the clicks and comments, but because your stories and experiences with Tana are the most powerful testament to what we re building together. We want to share those stories with the world. This isn t just a launch - it s a liftoff. What comes next will be even more exciting. Voice-first workflows, customizable AI agents, and an entirely new paradigm for knowledge work. But first, we will spend some time polishing what we now have launched. And just like everything else we ve built, we ll build it together with you, our incredible community. Thank YOU for being the Tana engine. Let s show the world what the future looks like! With deep gratitude, the Tana team.

Have you ever wanted to start a podcast to stay in touch with friends?

I thought I wanted to start a podcast with my friends, turns out I just wanted to use the format to stay in touch.
I travel quite a bit so I have friends in many timezones. Some of us attempted to start a podcast by each recording an audio clips and stitching them together into an episode. We quickly realized we didn't want the discussions to be fully public, however, the format of communicating through these audio podcast-like messages was a game changer.
This is what lead to the development of Roads Audio.
So have you ever wanted to start a podcast? What was that experience like?

Old Entrepreneur, New Product Hunter!

Hey, Hunters and Creators, I'm a Seasonal AI + SaaS Entrepreneur. Launched my first company administrator AI Agent for SMB in 2015, but the "AI" at the time is not that efficient and we have to devote loads of human effort behind to connect the dots between services; I later spent almost a decade on the field of banking SaaS+AI to enable a smarter and securer payment collection and merchant banking experience. For the past 2 years, deeply inspired by Gen AI, my fellow co-founders and I geared up and create a new cutting edge Voice Interviewer and Customer Insights AI Agent. Which we believe would be the future of Customer Research, Engagement and Beyond! Check out Chikka.ai and give it a try! Your feedback is desperately needed! Love ya!

You have one wish for the Product Hunt team. What is it?

You are the Head of Product for Product Hunt. What will you have the engineers build?

Attending meetups and conferences – does it help with sales?

I ve attended a few conferences and meetups over the past two years always for a different purpose. Sometimes it was just 1. to socialise , other times 2. to interview guests, 3. find PR or 4. sell products. I have to say that the last item on this list was the least fulfilling we recruited a few trial users, but there were minimal paying customers. How do you approach similar events? What positive results have you seen from it? [If you have any recommendations for meetups or conferences where people are more open to buying a product, I d be grateful if you could share them.]

How many hours do you spend on emails?

How many hours do you spend on crafting emails + replying to work messages everyday? How many hours do you spend on tracking project progress and follow-ups everyday? I personally spend 2 hours on emails & messages, another 1 hour on project tracking. But maybe 1-2 hours joggling around tasks and wasted. Wonder if there's any good AI or SaaS tools to reduce the time spent on the above tasks?
