About

Founder of Iter, a travel platform built on a simple belief: travel should be shaped by taste, not popularity. My background spans design, architecture, user experience strategy, and project leadership, where I've led multidisciplinary teams and delivered complex projects with a strong focus on execution and results. Travel has been a lifelong passion and source of inspiration. Over the past eight months, I assembled a team of designers and engineers and led Iter from concept to launch. What began as an AI itinerary planner evolved into a broader vision centered on traveler taste, personalization, and meaningful experiences.

Why I Built Iter

Growing up in a small town in West Germany, I couldn't help but wonder what the world looked like beyond the horizon. Family road trips and vacations across Europe eventually sparked my passion for travel.

My first extended solo trip took me across Asia. Travel planning was limited travel guidebooks, and fragmented info on the internet. I visited incredible places, but if you asked me today to recount those memories, I honestly couldn't tell you much. What I do remember are the moments I never planned: getting lost in a neighborhood, talking with locals, meeting fellow travelers, and discovering places that weren't on anyone's bucket list.

That's when I realized that travel had happened to me. I was moving from place to place instead of truly experiencing them.

Today, we're faced with a different dilemma which is information overload with unlimited travel content, AI generated itineraries, social media, reviews, and recommendations. Finding places isn't hard anymore. Finding places that feel right for you still is.

We won Product of the Day! Huge Thanks

Yesterday, we won Product of the Day!

More than the ranking, we got to share Upstream with hundreds of founders, marketers, and product builders. That meant everything.

Just "AI" is no longer enough. Here is what Product Hunt is telling us.

I have been looking at what is actually getting traction on Product Hunt right now. The pattern is clear.

In March, OpenClaw products dominated the leaderboard. Anything with "Claw" in the name got votes. That was a land grab new space, everyone rushing in to claim a spot .

In April, that stopped. The "just build an agent" strategy stopped working. What replaced it? Products that do specific tasks inside workflows you already have .

Here is what the data shows.
