InkScape is one of the best open-source graphics editors - holding its own against Adobe Illustrator. It also has an some really unique plugins. One of my favorites is InkStitch which adds powerful design and export functions for embroidery patterns.

GitHub

Github is the go-to git implementation on which so much of the open-source community is built. It is free to use, though we use the Team plan so we can better manage security as a business. And somehow they are still managing to mke it better with new AI features such as the CoPilot.

Monday is a really flexible tool for product management. The boards are flexible enough to cover a wide range of tasks. We use it to organize multiple groups throughout our company: tech roadmaps, bug tracking, sales pipelines, video production. It also has useful integrations with Slack and Jira - though I would love to see even more flexibility in connecting with Atlassian suite.

These short little poems and thoughts are funny, delightful, and timely. I think everyone on ProductHunt should read them. I would love to have one delivered to me, everyday as a quick reminder to live and to laugh.
Miro

When the pandemic started and my company went remote, I was very frustrated by not having a whiteboard to sketch out ideas. Miro came to the rescue, allowing us to quickly sketch up UI designs, share ideas, and build flowcharts.

Synthesia

Synthesia is really easy to use and generate videos - just type text and hit go. They are rapidly adding more avatars and you can pay to create your own custom avatar. It does take a little bit of tweaking to the audio cadence right. It does help to upload your own audio with the Pro accounts, though it costs quite a bit more. The standard plan gives 10 videos per month, and there is a fairly big cost to get to the next price tier. I am excited to see more control over facial expressions and performance.

What's great

easy to use (7)frequent updates (2)AI avatars (5)custom avatars (1)

What needs improvement

subscription limitations (3)high cost for pro features (2)
Slack

While it may not really be the log of all conversation and knowledge, it is one of the best messaging applications for work, providing quick connections to all your colleagues, robust channels, and integrations with lots of 3rd party applications like Monday and Jira.
