Is a link in bio page better than a website?

Here s what s happening: we re living through a fundamental shift in how people discover and engage with brands online. The old playbook -> build a website, drive traffic, convert -> is being rewritten by mobile-native behaviors and micro-attention spans.

As a marketer, I ve seen this evolution firsthand. The brands winning today aren t necessarily the ones with the most sophisticated websites. They re the ones meeting their audience where they already are, with content optimized for how people actually behave online.

When you meet someone worth knowing — what’s your move?

Networking is basically part of the job whether it s an investor coffee, a random meetup chat, or bumping into someone at a coworking space.

I used to carry stacks of printed business cards until I realized they were usually forgotten at home.

Now I just have it in my Apple wallet in a digital format (I chose wisery.io)

Not another one cold outreach script...

I used to think getting better at networking meant showing up at every event and DM ing like crazy.

Turns out, I just needed to make a small change.

I started using an e-business card (by wisery.io) at meetings, conferences, and unexpected introductions, and here s what happened - people FINALLY remembered me.

“Let’s connect on LinkedIn” mid-Party? Please Nooo

Let s connect on LinkedIn! mid-party.

Please. Don t. Be. That. Person.

There s a time and place for networking and shouting your elevator pitch over background music isn t it.

What hobbies or skills do the founders in the Product Hunt community have?

Whenever I click through to the social media profiles of the makers in the product hunt community, I find that they are quite versatile and are involved in things other than just business.

What other skills do you have besides your work skills?

Do you use Product Hunt more/less during summer, weekends or holidays?

I'm doing a little research on the traffic on this platform. Many people ask when it's a good idea to launch a product on Product Hunt.

I'd like to know your perspective on how you spend your time here during specific seasons (weekends, holidays, summer).

Would it be a good idea for Product Hunt to have a 'TikTok' feature?

I feel like it would be pretty awesome to have a short video scrolling feature to discover the products that maybe could not make it to the top but have so much value.

Then even if your launch flopped you can redeem yourself by appearing in the feed of others.

Q2: What are your goals for the next 3 months?

In yesterday's post, I broke down the goals (and achievements/failures for Q1 2025).

So happy to see your contributions as well and would like to know...
What is on your plate for the next Q2 period?

Are AI comments a (good) future for social media?

Today I read this message:
Instagram has just added the ability to write comments with AI.

A similar option LinkedIn has (it offers pre-written recommended comments like "Congratulations")

Which European countries do you consider pro-startup?

In my opinion, the startup scene is not evenly supported, and some countries are not so passionate about business. I'm from Central Europe, and I don't feel any extra entrepreneurial spirit here.
From my observations, countries like France, and Germany (maybe Poland) have always been mainly startup-oriented.

In terms of more favourable taxes for entrepreneurs, Cyprus and Estonia came to mind.

But maybe I'm wrong and I'm overlooking local communities.

Is it beneficial to give trial access to the paid newsletter?

The situation that happened:

I see how some creators on Subtsack are monetizing their content (they have a section for subscribers who can pay to access articles, videos, and private chat).

Attending meetups and conferences – does it help with sales?

I ve attended a few conferences and meetups over the past two years always for a different purpose. Sometimes it was just 1. to socialise , other times 2. to interview guests, 3. find PR or 4. sell products. I have to say that the last item on this list was the least fulfilling we recruited a few trial users, but there were minimal paying customers. How do you approach similar events? What positive results have you seen from it? [If you have any recommendations for meetups or conferences where people are more open to buying a product, I d be grateful if you could share them.]

What do you struggle with the most when launching a product?

Personally, for me, the hardest part has been reaching out to others for help. (But this is more of a personal challenge than a technical one.) What has been the most difficult part for you when launching a product?
