About
I’ve spent 20 years in technology and over a decade leading engineering teams at Microsoft, Oracle, and Paylocity. One habit has remained constant: learning. Articles, podcasts, videos, and PDFs became part of daily life—along with separate tools for finding, saving, organizing, and listening. Each solved one piece, but none preserved why something mattered or how it connected to something learned months earlier. That gap became Omphalis. It gives meaningful sources a clear shape, helps with difficult ideas, keeps important moments in context, and reconnects them over time. The goal is not to consume more, but to let what matters become part of what we understand. The name comes from omphalos, the Greek word for center. Omphalis is the center of your understanding.
