On task budgets, I'm not sizing them yet. Pinned to 4.6 through a launch in a few weeks and the tokenizer change alone means I want to benchmark before migrating anything. The point about task shape vs task size is exactly right though a budget that works for greenfield generation would be wrong for constrained validation work even at a fraction of the line count.
Anyone else running Opus 4.7 yet? This one feels different (with CC harness)

Launching SplitPost on PH on May 13th so the timing is interesting but I'm pinning to 4.6 for now. The tokenizer change means the same input costs up to 35% more in tokens depending on content type, and I'd rather benchmark that properly than discover it on launch week Also seeing a lot of reports about 4.6 quality degrading in the weeks before this release too, which makes me want to let 4.7...

I'm honestly finding it highly confusing how to even promote a launch. I have the product, it's ready to go, it works, it's tested, it's free to use, but I keep running into the same issue as you. I've automated a lot of Twitter.
