Is your mac currently using any app to extend monitor to android ?

though android/ mobile screen is small for external monitor but it came in clutch when you actually need it. is the current app you currently using offer real time experience with little latency ? with phonedesk im really happy with the performance over wifi / usb. the cursor is working like a native monitor connected via hdmi and the quality of the images is just so crisp with PhoneDesk, what is your experience so far with PhoneDesk ? and where should we target to breakthrough next ?

here is a recent video i created to further demonstrate PhoneDesk usage at a coffeeshop lol :

Phone Desk - Samsung DEX & Pixel desktop mode on your Mac Display

Samsung killed DeX support for PC and Mac — if you've got a Galaxy Z Fold/Flip or a Pixel with desktop mode, your only options were a second monitor, a DeX dock, or nothing. PhoneDesk is a macOS menu bar app that drives your phone's own desktop mode —Samsung DEX or Pixel desktop mode — as a real, resizable window right on your Mac. Not a screen mirror crammed into a box: actual desktop-mode windows, drag and resize like any other Mac app.

What are the 5 tools you simply couldn't do your work without?

This could be related to your industry, or even a side project you're working on.

Here are my 5 (I couldn't function without them):

  1. Grammarly proofreading my texts, not just posts, but also client communication

  2. ChatGPT / Claude mostly brainstorming, help with copy, and summarising

  3. Figma I can put the basic graphics together quickly.

  4. Translator sounds incredibly old-school, but English is not my mother tongue

  5. Gmail and not only for communication, but also for storing ideas and sending myself email reminders for posts
