My favorite launch videos from last week

I love building products. But videos? That s hard.

So I started studying others.

Here are 7 AI launch videos that nail storytelling and simplicity last week in my opinion:

1. @Higgsfield AI video editing shown through clean, iterative results.

Anyone else running into same problem deploying long-running AI agents?

I ve been working on some AI projects recently things like scheduled agents, API responders, and multi-agent systems that need to run continuously. One of the biggest headaches I ve run into is deployment.

Most cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.) are built for stateless apps or short-lived functions. But for long-running, stateful agents, the kind that need to persist data, auto-recover from crashes, and expose custom endpoints it gets surprisingly messy. I ve spent so much time setting up VMs, Docker configs, and recovery logic than actually writing agent behavior logic.

What’s a tiny tool or hack you use every day that most people don’t know about?

I m talking about that weird shortcut, underrated browser extension, a script you wrote once and now can t live without No matter how small or niche, share it I m genuinely curious, and I bet a lot of us will end up discovering something super useful today.

Have you ever ignored alpha/beta test results? What happened next?

I ll go first.

This was at a previous company, selling B2B SaaS infrastructure. We had strong early traction, a few marquis accounts and constant user feedback. One theme kept popping up: people loved the idea and related to the need but when they tried to use the product in certain ways, it didn't easily do what it was supposed to.

Is there an API that tells me if content is AI generated?

I want to hit an api with some text and get a "likekyhood of ai generated" score.
does this exist already? I would expect to have to pay which is fine!

I Built My First Raycast Extension. Here's How I Did It!

I was inspired by @chrismessina to build my own Raycast extensions after he released his own! I have been using Raycast a lot more thanks to a gentle nudge from @jakecrump (and @Raycast's latest AI releases), so I knew I wanted to build my own Raycast extension at some point.

There was a lot of news about Cyberpunk for Mac released and I wanted to search if there was a deal for it on PC. I instinctively went to search Raycast .but it wasn t there. So my extension idea was born!

My goal was simple: make it easier to hunt for video game deals right from the Raycast command bar. What followed was a rapid journey of prototyping, debugging, and learning. I m excited to share what I learned and hope it will encourage more makers to ship their ideas.
You can view my IsThereAnyDeal (ITAD) Extension on GitHub here! I will launch it when it's approved on the Raycast store :) I'll publish a more in-depth, nerdy guide later. But for now...here's my experience building a Raycast Extension!

What's your go-to stack for customer outreach and relationship building?

I've been experimenting with different approaches to customer outreach for my SaaS, and I'm curious what's working for others.

My current challenge: Balancing automation with authentic relationship building. I've tried tools like Waalaxy for LinkedIn outreach (fast but feels spammy, 1% reply rate) versus manual research and personalized messages (time-intensive but doesn't scale).

How do you run operations when your company’s still figuring things out?

No ERP. No full-time ops lead. No perfect processes.

Just Notion docs, Google Sheets, Slack chaos and a growing to-do list.

You re hiring. Selling. Delivering. Building.

Ever wished your project history looked more like a tracking map?

When you scroll back through your chat box trying to restore an earlier version of your project have you ever thought:

"I wish I could actually see how this version evolved from previous ones and just jump back to the better one whenever I need to."

Well, that s exactly what the new Trickle 2.0 lets you do and I m honestly thrilled about it.

What’s the psychological price ceiling you’d pay for software?

There s an interesting trend unfolding.

Most major AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude etc.) started with friendly $20/month plans. It felt accessible, almost casual.

Is interacting with AI characters becoming the norm for you? (Your POV)

Common Sense Media published a report on this topic, and it reminded me of how big a bubble I live in.

When Meta announced back in 2024/2025 that they wanted to create AI avatars to boost engagement, I was skeptic, but data speaks clearly  young people enjoy AI interaction.

What’s your go-to move when users aren’t engaging with new features?

You ve built something new. It solves a real problem. The team s excited, you ve shipped it, the feature s live...

And then crickets.
