@rajiv_ayyangar and I have talked a lot about what applications, devices, and codebases have most influenced our thinking and careers. Photoshop is high on that list for me. For many years it was the most reliable application I used regularly, bar none. In a world where we just expected the Windows blue screen and the little Mac unhappy icon to happen regularly, Photoshop never crashed. Even though both its feature set complexity and working data set size were much larger than most other apps of the time. Photoshop was also truly cross platform. It worked the same way on Windows and Mac. This is hard! It had a plugin system. Indie developers built great extensions for Photoshop. And it had a credits screen that you saw every time the app loaded, with the names of all the programmers who worked on it!

Hey, Product Hunt friends! I just realized I have no idea how many subscriptions I ve signed up for! Every month, I see random charges on my card for services I completely forgot about or don t even use anymore. Does anyone else struggle with this?
Sometimes I have a feeling I could use my potential more. E.g. Spending too much time on the internet I could go exercise or read books. Not taking advantage of relationships in terms of networking I should socialise more and ask for help (because I do not do that.). I ve been searching for a smarter way to manage and interact with my data across tools, and automate a few workflows. I have used Zapier, Make, BoostSpace, etc. in the past and they are great! However, I recently also discovered Needle when their founder reached out to me seeking feedback for their product. What I was impressed with was their API and ability to build context-aware agents. I also hunted Needle on PH today! I would love to understand what solutions you use to currently manage data and workflows across your tools? Please share in the comments as I am learning more about this space.
After TikTok and CapCut was banned in the US over the weekend, Meta announced it's new video editing app as an alternative to CapCut. The TikTok is now partially restored crediting Trump with restoring service. As a result of President Trump s efforts, TikTok is back in the U.S.! the message reads on the app. It's still missing from the app store. What do you think will happen next?
