Do you remember when technology blew your mind for the first time ever and kickstarted your tech ambition? For me it was the iPod Nano, I remember seeing the ad and being hooked on tech and especially music tech ever since.
I think it's important to be able to quickly summarise your product to anyone who may be interested such as potential investors and customers. A good challenge for this is to describe it in 5 words as best you can!
Interesting piece by a writer I enjoy reading: https://www.theterminal.info/i/8... Some choice quotes:
"I think it s pretty clear by now the software-led tech boom of the 2010s is pretty much over. The combination of pandemic stimulus and tech-enabled remote work kept things ebbing along a few years longer than they perhaps would have otherwise, but the party s over. There are the mass layoffs helpfully tracked here plunging stock prices and missed revenue guidance, but all of those can be blamed on a generally flagging economy. The rest of it is in the vibes." "You don t have to look far for those vibes. Elon Musk ascending to the throne of Twitter atop a pile of middle manager skulls. Mark Zuckerberg pumping the spoils of a decade of social media dominance into brute forcing the existence of a parallel universe nobody wants to spend any time in. Legions of platform businesses collapsing on their own rickety scaffolding. The form and function of the smartphone growing stagnant, such that it is no longer really possible to discern the difference between iPhone models. The slushy cultural output of a legion of streaming services chasing what few potential subscribers remain. Elizabeth Holmes going to jail." What do people think? Personally I think there is a significant correction occurring and the easy money spigot, is obviously given what is happening in the global economy, has turned off. At the same time I still hear about significant fundraising success for startups. I am definitely a skeptic and a bit of a doom guy so I'm interested in other takes and thoughts?
A lot of people I know use the Figma for design now, especially for UI/UX design. It s easy to use, there s a lot of different stuff, and it s pretty easy to figure out. But I ve also heard about Sketch and Zeplin as good alternatives to Figma. So what s the best solution for design right now for newbies, as well as advanced?
I love chrome extensions! They make some of my tasks super easy. I add/remove extensions regularly, but these are some of them which I can't remove for sure. - Grammarly: Extraordinary help while writing anything from emails to blogs.
- Dashlane: Can never remember my passwords.
- Pocket: Best way to not lose the articles I want to read later.
- Loom: Video version of "This meeting could've been an email". I love to quickly record screens and send it to my teammates.
- Wappalyzer: When I want to know the tech stack on which a website is built on.
- Honey: Of course! Which girl doesn't like good shopping deals. And while you re here, Check out our product Supademo.

I use evernote currently but its messy. Is there a specific product for this? Ideal features would be: - Super slick UI thats easy on the eyes
- Ability to rank ideas yourself
- Ability to categorise and/or tag ideas
- Some kind of brainstorming esque feature to do deeper dives on ideas would be awesome
- Some kind of repository so you could store "stuff" (links, files etc) against ideas would be awesome. Any ideas?
Honestly, the distractions around the house are my biggest nightmare while working from home. Even though I am a remote worker, I try to go out and work in coffee shops, and libraries as much as possible so that I am much more disciplined. What about you?
It is the thing I struggle with the most. I usually get up grab a cup of coffee and get back to work but it doesn't always do the trick for me. So what are your tactics?
As soon as the sales process is done, we're jumping on a call with our customers to onboard them and set some goals. However, it is hard to keep track of every customer, their goals, and where they are on the road to being successful with using Storylane. We're thinking of using Rocketlane (https://www.producthunt.com/prod...) for this. Any other suggestions?
