Hi everyone! We're trying really hard to publish our landing page for our Twitch Extension this week, some work to do on the backend for some link-ups that we want working but otherwise ready to go! What about you?
Hi, all! Hope you are having a fantastic first week of April. I wanted to ask: who is launching this month? I'd love to hear more about your product so we can support each other! On our side, we're launching ReSkript around the last week of April. We have yet to decide a set date. But all of our efforts are into PH right now. What about you?
As founders, we wear many hats. We all have to learn a bunch of new things DAILY. On any given topic, there is an overwhelming quantity of content. You have to search - vet - learn; rinse and repeat x 100 a day... What's the most effective learning method for you?
It is pouring rain here in London, the grey skies and the lunch I just had are leaving me very unmotivated to work. Usually I just grab a quick snack/drink or go on a little walk (can t because of the rain). What are some of your tricks?
I'm interested in how people are personally and professionally prepping and optimizing for web3. I don't know much about the space but hoping to learn more!
I've noticed Product Hunt has added a few gamification features like the "streak" on the landing page as well as badges for the profile pages. I think they are well done because they encourage the behaviour the platform wants to see and at the same time they aren't in your way. The "core" experience of Product Hunt always had a strong game-loop thanks to the upvoting and daily ranking dynamics but it is interesting to see these core ideas still being fleshed out more and more over time. Well done! Question: have you come across other apps or platforms that do gamification really well? Where it feels like part of the thing and not just like a gimmick? Any pointers appreciated!
Getting early customers for your product isn't easy - they need to buy into your vision and get a ton of value from your product. Let me know if you have any inspiring (or lucky ) stories about how you attracted and closed on your first paying customer!
We are increasingly connected to our phones which can make it difficult to fully unplug or be present at times. Once you wake up to start your day, how quickly do you reach for your phone to check your mentions, emails, etc?

Hey, all!
There are many productivity tools out there offering different features. But I still haven't found one that covers everything I want. To me, the essential features a perfect tool must have are: - A good text editor ( I mean, I love notion. But why is it so hard to bring the text there to other formats? Sometimes I summarize some things inside notion, but taking them to an actual doc or pdf is so painful!) - Simple, minimalistic design - A good place to have random thoughts and things that I need to get done without losing sight of them - Good integrations!! I use Gcal a lot, so I would love to have a productivity software that actually integrates with it. What about you?
User feedback is crucial to the product development cycle - but it isn't always the first step to building a successful product. How early in your journey did you start integrating user feedback? "If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses" - Henry Ford
Every couple weeks at SigmaOS we do sprint plans to lay out the tasks for the next 2 weeks and every morning we do a standup to quickly go over what we did the day before and what we are doing today. Would love to hear what your thoughts on this is and what you use in your own teams :)
Hey PH community, would love some recommendations on this! With all the various legal documentation required to cover our backs while building a product, what are your affordable (free) solutions for these documents at an MVP stage, when a startup doesn't really have the budgets for this stuff?
Whether you're a maker, a founder, or an employee, I want to hear how your product is unique compared to the rest of the market. Why did you differentiate your product the way that you did?
We all love holidays the longer the better but in time we have to be back to productive work after all our life depends on it this can be a jarring transition the longer you have been away from work. Please share with us how you go about it or have helpful suggestions to shake off post vacation blues.
