Hey makers!

We're building Anting.ai, a platform for internal AI collaboration. It's still early, we've got a few features up and running and plenty we're still figuring out.

Curious to understand how people use AI skills

Hey Makers,
Every AI tool is shipping its own version of "skills" now: Claude Skills, ChatGPT's skills and custom GPTs, saved prompts, agents, and so on.
I've built maybe a dozen skills across Claude and ChatGPT at this point. I use two of them. The rest looked like a great idea the day I made them.

That made me wonder whether it's just me, or whether skills are one of those features everyone sets up and nobody really lives in.

So just wanted to hear it out on your side:

  • Which ones do you actually use, and for what?

  • Did you write them yourself, or are you running someone else's?

  • Has a skill ever spread through your team, or do they stay personal? If you've shared one, how? Repo, Notion page, pasted into Slack?

  • If you stopped using them, what was the reason? Too fiddly, didn't trust the output, or just forgot they were there?

How did you get your first users before anyone knew your product existed?

I m at the stage where building the product feels easier than getting the first real users.

Not traffic. Not friends signing up. I mean people who genuinely try the product, come back, and tell you what s useful or broken.

I keep hearing the usual answers - Product Hunt, Reddit, X, communities, cold outreach - but I m more interested in what actually worked when you had no audience yet.

Did your first users come from one channel, or was it mostly manual conversations one by one?
