I ve noticed that the purpose of people on Product Hunt is always different. Of course, the vast majority want to become the Product of the Day, Week, Month, or Year (or win Kitty Awards).
However, some are there for the community and their success metrics may lie in something else (e.g. the number of discussions created and rated).
Hi there, I m new on PH. I m building Urrica- a platform that helps early stage startups to: draft contracts with AI, access lawyer level pre-drafted templates, e-sign form and manage entities
And some other features. I m a lawyer/2x founder. The idea came from helping hundreds of my clients for years. Any feedback on how to increase followers here to try and get a few (5-10) beta users to test the product? Also, happy to help other founders test their products and contribute in anyway I can.
So, I ve been toying with the idea of going "Build in Public" for my startup, but I m torn. On one hand, it seems like an awesome way to grow an audience, get early feedback, and build trust. On the other, I ve seen plenty of people burn out or struggle to balance actually building vs. constantly sharing updates.
I guess my main questions are: What s the best way to approach it without it feeling like a second job? Where do you actually build in public: Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit, PH, or somewhere else? Any success (or horror) stories from those who ve done it?
I'm Maria-Cristina. I grew up in a family of creatives and entrepreneurs, always torn between artistic expression and the practical side of business, selling my artwork at local markets when I was barely a teenager.

is there any reason to prefer one over the other? Have you used both or either?
My needs are simple. I want to be able to add two accounts and let someone put a meeting on my calendar from a link. I think both cover the use case -- which should I use?
I ve personally struggled with getting the perfect headshot booking a photoshoot, trying to pose naturally, and still not getting the results I wanted. The truth is, some of us just aren t photogenic in the traditional sense.
That s exactly why my team and I built Headshot Photo - https://www.producthunt.com/post...
We ve spent the last 6 months training our AI to not just generate headshots, but to capture the right expressions, body language, outfits, and backgrounds all while keeping it authentically you. The goal? A natural yet polished headshot that feels like you, just on your best day.
