I see this platform succeeding in moderating discussions and communities in general. When the platform succeeds, individuals succeed too (and vice versa).
I believe that everyone can make friends here and contribute to a strong, supportive community.
I have been building, learning, searching, investing for the last 6 years, back to back, non-stop. I feel I have officially reached burnout. One week I am super into building and I code new things like crazy. And the next I just want to chill and go surfing lol. Do you go through a similar phase? How do you deal with the constant change of emotions?
Personally, I was laid off a year ago and currently bottoming out on savings. Every day is not guaranteed, quite literally, at this point. Yet, I keep my head down and continue building out a product relentlessly that I, quite frankly, have no idea how it will turn out. Many of us took this leap of faith and are under strenuous circumstances, especially in the current market. If you're in similar positions, just know that everything will work out! Fortune favors the bold. We're in this together! I would love to hear your stories.
Until now marketers have had to guess what's a normal CPC, CPM or CTR in their niche. There's no real public information available. So we decided to fix this. Here's our public free Facebook Ads benchmarking tool.
It's based on real data, not some marketer's best guess from 2017. It's built on an anonymized data set of $2B+ of Facebook Ads ad spend. All data is fully aggregated and anonymized You can currently select CPC, CPM or CTR. And slice the data by industry, campaign type and country.
Is your CPM spike an industry-wide trend?
Is your CTR truly exceptional or just average for your vertical?
I had an experience today I wanted to share and get some thoughts on. Someone reached out to me asking if I could delete one of my past Product Hunt launches a product that was featured and received great attention on its launch day.
The reason given? They're planning an "official," coordinated launch next month and, based on their stated "research into PH rules," believed that a previous launch within six months would prevent their launch from being featured. They wanted a guaranteed feature, so they hoped removing the previous record would help.
After hours of reading best practices, crafting the perfect assets and assembling what felt like a bulletproof plan, we were ready to launch on Product Hunt. We worked so hard and genuinely believed we d wake up to thousands of sign ups and the Product of the Day badge.
The reality was very different. We saw a tiny boost in sign ups, got stuck at around 200 upvotes, and to top it off, finished below a food blender.
Hi folks. Yesterday, I got featured with my latest app, and I made it to Top 5 Products of the day
I won't share my app's link here. That is not the goal. I just wanted to share some traffic numbers and insights, so you have a realistic expectation of traffic once you make it, too :)
(GMT+1) - : +1.1k page views - : +1k unique visitors - : +1.6k views (how is it higher than landing page views? I still don't know) - : 213 actual users - : 4 HELL YEAH - : 130$ (VERY RICH lol)
I graduated 4 years ago, and I had the opportunity to go on to a PhD, but I gave up on that option.
Instead, I chose the "real world".
Many public universities in my country offer free tuition, while in the US tuition is very high, and people take out student loans that take decades to pay off.
Forget the pitch deck for a second. This is about grabbing attention fast. Share your startup in five words or less. The goal is to be clear, clever, or just bold enough to make people stop scrolling. Who knows, it could be a good marketing exercise

We re gearing up for our very first launch on Product Hunt this April 2, and we re incredibly excited about it! It s been a journey filled with hard work, preparation, and anticipation. But as we all know, launching on PH can be unpredictable, and there s always room to learn and improve.
I'm a newbie @mattt_lim (about a month old) and it feels like Product Hunt is playing hard to get with me
Here's what I'm experiencing:
My posts only appear publicly about 12 hours after I write them
My comments show up days later
Today I got a notification for a comment someone left on my post 5 days ago! Each piece of feedback is precious, and I felt bad not being able to respond immediately
