About

I’m a qualitative researcher and artist interested in how people form identity through the things they buy, use, and value. At Why-Q, I lead recruitment and fieldwork for nationwide qualitative studies, focusing on finding niche consumer groups and building respondent profiles that help clients understand their audiences. Outside of research, I’m a painter exploring similar ideas around consumerism, desire, and everyday life through my creative work. I’m interested in consumer behavior, qualitative research, fieldwork, art, and the stories behind why people make the choices they do.

Publisher path is live. Key, then an ad, same day.

Update from launch week.

The publisher path no longer waits on a review. You create a key, drop the SDK, send a message. If the auction is empty you still get a house ad. Same day.

If you tried the SDK last Tuesday and saw nothing, try again.

I want the boring reports:

📰 Do product websites need a Blog today?

After launching RunEvr, we started getting a lot of offers related to blog post creation.

But we had already designed our own blog mechanism earlier, even before the launch.

We re working on this ourselves right now. We even built our own CMS to make it easy to create, review, and publish posts directly to our blog.

But one thing is important to us: the blog belongs to us.

🏋️‍♀️ What’s your strongest skill as a Maker?

We re all naturally a little better at some things than others.

I ve been thinking about what skills and behaviors make me me. =)

I think some of them come with our DNA. Others are things we practice and practice until they become part of us.

And maybe the interesting part is learning how to make our strengths even stronger, while quieting the ones that sometimes make our path harder.
