Every year I reflect on how I spent money in the previous year. Previously, I have manually scraped my bank statements and put together a report, but 2025 was interesting because I built a fairly overkill personal finance product to make this report easy to generate for myself.
Because it is really easy, I m going to do a deep dive on how I spent money in 2025. (I was able to put this all together in ~10 mins)
We just wrapped the Orbit Awards for AI Dictation and now we re moving to the next category: AI Automation.
This one is for the tools that actually do work for you clearing chores, running workflows in the background, or quietly taking over a chunk of your week without turning into another dashboard you have to babysit.
I'm Aloke, Engineer #1 at Warp and lead eng on Warp's new coding features.
We're all in on agentic coding at Warp, but we also recognize that even the best agents need some human guidance. We just launched a suite of new features to help you closely iterate with agents code review panel, file editor, file tree, slash commands, WARP.md (or use your existing agent.md file).
I'm Aaron and for the last few years I've been writing the Product Hunt newsletters. That includes: our daily, weekly, developer tools, and AI tools ones. Every morning I look through the homepage to try and find the coolest products to write about and I want to share with you all what I look in a launch so you can increase your chances of getting featured!

During the week, I receive a lot of questions about Product Hunt, and some of them are very frequent. I thought I would post the most frequent ones here, and a possible answer to them.
Is it worth having a hunter?
If the hunter has a large follower base, a strong community, and a good reputation (and your product is also good, i.e. it will be featured): YES, IT IS WORTH HAVING A HUNTER. It will multiply your visibility and success
I used it for a year or two, but eventually went back to iTerm because I found the UX to be over-complicated and slowed me down. (Also, I'm a dinosaur with too much muscle memory to overcome...) But the AI features were interesting, so I'm curious what ya'll see as alternatives, or if you think I should give it another shot.
