From inbox chaos to hands-free bookkeeping: Receiptor AI is live

I m Luigi, part of the small team behind Receiptor AI

A year ago I joined @romeobellon on Receiptor AI, because I d seen how much time accountants and business owners waste hunting for receipts and invoices.

So together we ve been building Receiptor and today we re launching our biggest upgrade yet on Product Hunt.

What it does:

What’s stopping you from automating your bookkeeping with AI?

I met the Receiptor AI team a while back when they were starting out to consider launching on Product Hunt. I found that they were solving a real problem every entrepreneur faces that is bookkeeping.

Receiptor AI has come a long way. What started as a simple way to fetch receipts from your inbox has now grown into a full-fledged bookkeeping assistant: scanning, categorizing, syncing with Xero/QuickBooks and now even offering organizations, custom rules and financial insights through AI.

Early-stage founders: What’s your content & social playbook in the age of AI + automation?

As an AI company, we love testing new agents. The ones that save us time, power our workflows, or even do things better than we could.

We also understand the importance of high-quality content for social media, ads, and marketing. But it s not always a core skill for early-stage teams (at least not within our team of 2 at @Receiptor AI ).

What’s your favorite part of the video creation process?

We ve talked a lot about the pain points in video creation, but what about the parts you actually enjoy?

Is it scripting? Storyboarding? Editing? That final moment when everything just clicks?

Curious to hear what parts of the process make it worth the effort for you. Drop your favorite bit below would love to see what others vibe with too.

What are you using for bookkeeping right now?

Just asking, QuickBooks? Google Sheets? Something you hacked together with AI?

We built a very simple AI-driven tool and want to hear what s working (or not) for early-stage teams.

How Can AI Help People with ADHD? Any Recommended Apps or Tools?

I saw Shimmer on the leaderboard today and wondered if AI can be used to help people with ADHD or similar neurodivergent traits. Here's the link to Shimmer launch in case you haven't seen it yet. Managing focus, organizing tasks, remembering important things, and balancing productivity with self-care can sometimes feel overwhelming. Tools like Shimmer are definitely helpful. Have you also come across any specific AI-powered apps or tools designed to assist with ADHD? I d love to hear your experiences or recommendations in the comments! :)

What’s your biggest challenge in managing data and workflows?

I ve been searching for a smarter way to manage and interact with my data across tools, and automate a few workflows. I have used Zapier, Make, BoostSpace, etc. in the past and they are great! However, I recently also discovered Needle when their founder reached out to me seeking feedback for their product. What I was impressed with was their API and ability to build context-aware agents. I also hunted Needle on PH today! I would love to understand what solutions you use to currently manage data and workflows across your tools? Please share in the comments as I am learning more about this space.
