YC founders, would you trust AI to handle 90% of your support chats?
me and my co-founder are building an AI agent because at our last startup we just couldn t keep up with support.
we tried every chatbot out there. they all felt robotic. customers hated it.
hiring more people was too slow + too $$$
so we put together this ai chatbot (think intercom fin but deeper) that trains on your old tickets, learns your tone, doesn t hallucinate, and can actually answer stuff like a real support rep.
Do ideal work conditions matter to you or can you work from anywhere?
Everyone focuses differently. And for a lot of people, where and how they work makes a huge difference.
Some need silence. Others need background noise. Some can t stand the cold, others lose focus if it s too warm. Coworking spaces? Only if they have the right vibe. Offices? Only if colleagues aren t interrupting every five minutes.
Is there an API that tells me if content is AI generated?
I want to hit an api with some text and get a "likekyhood of ai generated" score.
does this exist already? I would expect to have to pay which is fine!
PixelUnion.eu Surpasses 3000 Users
We are thrilled to announce that PixelUnion.eu, our privacy-first photo startup from Europe, has reached an incredible milestone: 3,000 users! What makes this achievement even more special is that every single user joined organically without ads, outside funding, or even an official launch. This is a testament to the growing demand for tools that prioritize privacy and simplicity.
PixelUnion.eu offers a clean, web-based alternative to Big Tech photo hosting, hosted entirely in the EU with no ads, no tracking, and no data mining. Built on open-source foundations, our platform is designed for users who value privacy and control without the hassle of technical complexity. Our users enjoy up to 16GB of EU-hosted storage completely free, with paid plans available for those who need more space.
What is one business advice you'd give your younger self?
Building and launching products, testing them in real markets and building a business are like mini-MBAs. It teaches you a lot of things about human behavior, finance, marketing, sales, entrepreneurship, management and more.
We become wiser; and wish someone had given us the right advice at the right time.
Coding with an AI IDE (visual) vs AI CLI (Terminal), what's better?
I've been primarily using @Cursor as I like how it operates, enjoy that it's visual, and I am getting very comfortable with using it and being able to easily select different code bits and modify what I need....however....
I recently started using Gemini CLI in @Warp and I must say... I'm kinda liking it. I feel that it's able to do a lot more, faster without needing me to jump in. When I do jump in, it's simply to provide it guidence and direction.
I haven't done much with it yet, but I can see myslef now doing a combination of CLI and IDE development. I'm curious what everyone elses experience is! Or if you haven't used a CLI or IDE AI tool, why?
A bit of additional background, I'm not a develpoer but more of a "vibe coder" I can kinda understand different languages and don't mind diving into tech docs but I prefer AI do more of the coding than me :)
What advice would you give a first-time founder?
Let s help the next wave avoid mistakes
What would you tell a founder who just got their incorporation docs and opened a bank account?

A more personal topic: Having (or not having) a family while building a business?
I ve been fairly active on Twitter and have come across several founders and creators who hold very different views when it comes to having a family.
The opinions vary, and I really appreciate that people are open about discussing it.
Tired of learning someone elses way and getting nothing out of it?
Are you frustrated with learning because material is presented in a way that confuses or just plain bores you? Well, we have a small solution. It's called AIcademy.
A multiagent (A2A) platform that understands what kind of learner you are and presents content in a way which is acclimated to the way you learn not the other way around. AIcademy also has a 24 hour AI tutor who is dialed into your content and can summarize, explain, or have a conversation with you about your learning content.
Today, every other developer is building a SaaS product.
But most of these products are getting deserted due to zero visibility.
While building ZAMS and selling it across Reddit
I noticed a pattern:
Developers invest everything into building the product.
Back-end devs issues
Hey folks, quick question for all the back-end developers and solo SaaS builders out there
Do you ever get stuck or frustrated trying to build front-end UI for your projects? Like, you have a solid backend but creating a clean, usable front-end just feels like a massive time-sink or a completely different skill set?
I m curious how you currently handle it, and if you ve tried any tools to speed that up. What s your biggest pain when it comes to front-end work?
Would love to hear your experience
