I love @Cursor. It's enabled me to build (vibe code) so many web apps, sites, extensions, and little things quickly that 1. bring me joy and 2. help me with work or realize personal projects. However... I'm seeing a TON of movement around @Claude by Anthropic's Claude Code. I haven't personally tried it but it's apparently insane (and can also be expensive?) I'm curious. Should I switch? What are you currently using? Or do they both have their own use case. I right now like cursor because I can build directly in a GitHub repo or locally and it helps me learn my way around an IDE. Looking forward to hearing everyone's thoughts!

I'm a product nerd. I love demoing and testing out products and am blessed that I can do this as part of my work here at Product Hunt but I sometimes forget to share my thoughts and impressions from testing products with the community....and I want to change that! What would you like to see if I were to start sharing some reviews, product comparisons, and first impressions of Products that are launched or discovered? What aren't you currently seeing in reviews! Throw any ideas, ask me anything, this is ultimately for you all!
I have the crazy idea to develop an SDR-Agent that will: 1. discover new opportunities on LinkedIn and Facebook, 2. contact leads and manage conversations on LinkedIn, Facebook, Email and Whatsapp;
3. provide a complete DFY solution, providing social accounts and email inboxes (so the users don't need to risk their own profiles). Finally, I am planning to offer a 7-day trial for $1. I have some concerns: 1. is there any room for a product like this in the market actually? 2. what may be the rate of users that will pay for the trial and will never use the tool?
3. can I bootstrap a project like this and run it alone (I have no partners)?
I'm seeing more products launch on Product Hunt that require payment to actually use any features. No free trial, no freemium tier, just a download that leads straight to a paywall.
Part of me thinks this makes sense. If your product has real value, why give it away? People on Product Hunt understand they're looking at premium tools. Plus offering free access can attract users who will never pay anyway.
But I also see the argument for temporary free access during launch. Product Hunt users want to actually try what they're upvoting. How can they give meaningful feedback or become advocates if they hit a paywall immediately?
Tons of great products that we know and use everyday are the result of pivots. You know, sometimes the original idea just isn't working and you have to find a new niche and quick, other times you stumble on a use case that changes the whole game.
Have you ever pivoted? What's the story behind it? How successful was the pivot? I'd love to hear your stories, and potentially feature them in our newsletters!

I'm super excited (and honestly a little nervous) I'm officially launching my first solo-built product here on Product Hunt: MassProspecting
It s a tool designed for anyone doing cold outreach especially founders, closers, and agencies who are tired of static lead lists and generic messages.
I just launched my first solo project MassProspecting a tool that helps you turn LinkedIn activity into AI-personalized cold outreach, at scale.
Instead of guessing who to contact, we scrape real LinkedIn posts, enrich leads with verified emails, and generate a message that feels like it was hand-written using AI.
As a solo founder, balancing feature dev with sales is tough, so I built the tool I wish I had. If you're doing outbound or cold email, I d love your thoughts!
