Bolt vs. Lovable?

I've tested all the major coding tools extensively, and this question keeps coming up. So, I m dedicating this post to clearing any doubts briefly and to the point.

Tldr;

  • Lovable excels in workflow efficiency, design precision, and community.

  • Bolt offers greater extensibility, particularly with its new mobile support.

What Chrome extensions are your must-have?

I tried to pick a few that help me with work (e.g. summarising something, fixing or improving the process).
Here are my must-haves:

  • Buyerstage  bookmarking LinkedIn posts

  • ColorZilla to pick colours from websites (a must for graphics work)

  • Grammarly  grammar checking and grammar correction

  • Save Tweets Forever  bookmarking Twitter posts

  • SimilarWeb for a quick overview of website stats

  • SurfPal a time tracker to keep screen time in check

  • TidyRead  AI summarising texts from websites

  • Tweet Hunter analysing Twitter posts and profiles

Of course, I have more, but these are essential to me.

[Help] What marketing communities do you actively engage with?

Hi everyone,

We re looking for beta users for our AI video tool BrewVideo. As it's a tool build for creating product videos and explainers, our primary audience is marketers, especially product marketers at this stage. So I m looking to connect with marketing communities where they go to share challenges, get help, or stay up to date with trends.

Personally, I rely a lot on podcasts (which don t help in this case ), LinkedIn through my network, and some Reddit communities like r/growthhacking. But I d love to expand our reach - what marketing communities do you follow or recommend?
Many thanks!

How did you get your first 100 users/customers?

I stumbled across a fascinating Reddit post earlier where a startup founder shared how he landed his first 100 customers entirely through Reddit (and with no ads too). His strategy? He didn t hard-sell his product. Instead, he identified where his ideal audience are already active, joined the conversation naturally, and provided genuine value. It got me thinking there are countless people searching for solutions online every day. Your ideal customers are out there; it s just about knowing where to find them and how to engage them in a way that feels authentic. So, founders, I m curious: What s your first 100 customers/users story? - How did you find them? - What strategy worked for you? - Are you still scaling that approach, or have you pivoted to something new? I d love to hear your journey. Share your story with us, let's learn from each other!

I'm the Product Hunt CEO - tell me your tagline and I'll fix it for you :)

I m the @Product Hunt CEO, I ve launched 7 times on PH, and helped countless friends prep their launches. The most common mistake I see is a confusing tagline. Launching on Product Hunt soon? Tell me your tagline and I ll fix it for you :)

What's the best advice you've ever received?

Someone once told me. "Don't wait for perfect conditions to start." It's been a game-changer for me when I overthink projects. What's the best advice you've ever been given and how has it impacted your decisions or mindset?

Who is behind the launches of OpenAI/Google/Anthropic?

Every week, we see new updates from these big AI companies launching on Product Hunt. But who is actually behind these launches? I've never seen these companies put any effort into promoting them. They always have a hunter, but they never promote on social media or make any launch efforts. Can anyone just post their updates as launches?

Growth Hacks I'm considering - need your inputs

I'm building Draftly, an AI writing assistant for content creators and marketing teams. Here's where I am and what I'm exploring: Current Situation I've got: - A solid AI writing tool that content creators love - Strong initial interest from early users - Positive feedback on core features - Growing user base but looking to scale faster What I'm currently testing: Cold Outreach: I'm thinking about reaching out to content marketing agencies and in-house teams. Has anyone cracked the code on getting meetings without being "just another tool" in their inbox? Conversion Strategy: My current focus is on: - Optimizing the trial-to-paid journey - Reducing friction in the payment process - Making onboarding more engaging - Building sticky features users can't live without :) What I need help with: 1. How are you handling demo bookings that actually show up? 2. What's working for you in terms of trial conversions? 3. Any creative approaches to stand out in the crowded AI writing space? Would love to hear from other founders who've successfully scaled their tools, especially in the content creation space. What unexpected tactics/hacks worked for you? Edit: I'm really interested in strategies that worked in the last 6-12 months, given how quickly the market is evolving.

What Podcasts do you recommend for entrepreneurs?

I listen and found this one helpful:
  1. Lenny's Podcast
  2. My First Millions
  3. Lex Fridman (this is more generic but tech founders related episodes are good one)
  4. I would love to explore more (like this) which is more about practical/actionable advice and relevant for digital products. What do you listen?

How often do you talk with your users/customers?

All sorts of product bible s are talking about the importance of talking and listening to your customers or users. But let s be honest, how often do you really talk to your customers/users? When was the last time? And how was the communication conducted ?

Best way to collect reviews with small user base?

I would like to gather a few quality reviews for our product, but I've hit a roadblock. Our users haven't opted-in to marketing emails, so I can't directly reach out to ask for feedback. (UK-based company, we'd be breaking GDPR). After launching on PH, it was recommended that we get more reviews to social proof our product that makes sense! But I've seen brands share some questionable reviews on their websites and I'd rather collect 3-4 genuine ones. Right now, I'm thinking of adding a pop-up or banner inside our web app to ask users for feedback, and I'm slowly building a proper marketing email list for the future. Meanwhile, does anyone have any creative (and ethical) ways to quickly collect a few solid reviews? Would love to hear what worked for the PH community!

Anyone else experiencing this issue on the PH mobile app?

Lately, I ve noticed that some of my replies to discussions don t show up on the mobile app meaning no responses, no engagement, nothing. At first, I thought it was just a mobile issue, so I switched to desktop. But even here, it s the same thing. Is this happening to anyone else, or is it just me? Would love to know if others are facing this too. I really want to see (and be seen in) discussions!

What's the biggest lesson you've learned since you've launched?

Personally, I learned that instead of targeting the potential users of the product, I should have targeted other product hunters. Not all users were comfortable creating a new PH account, even though they welcomed the product.

How did you choose your product/startup name?

Crewting is a mix of "Crew" and "Meeting". So share your thoughts behind your name and where you got the idea? In the shower or in the office?
